XYZ Entertainments signed rapper “Brawen” is the latest to be caught in a social media Buzz with King Illest. This follows after the Youngest rapper at Xampo Yapa Zambia threw some subtle shade at the Tonga Trap Lingo originator.
Brawen posted a pic flaunting some Kwacha Bills with a very shady caption. The caption read; “If this is not my money then Na illest sizake…”
The rapper was drawing reference from King Illest who flaunted stacks of cash in the music video for “Kakwama” which features Chef 187. However, the stunt for King Illest in the video was a way of relating to the concept of the song which means ‘Money’ in Tonga.
Brawen joins rapper Dizmo on the list of fellow new wave rappers to have gone after King Illest in the past one week. However, King Ilest hasn’t responded to Dizmo whose stunt was considered by many as a marketing strategy for his new single “Muletipepelako” which dropped a day later.
