HipHop artiste “Slapdee” and Afro Pop artiste “La’wino” traded argumentative verbatism on Instagram Yesterday. The argument all started when Slapdee posted a picture of himself and captioned it “Sun Is alone but still shines” but it seems this caption alone got the “This Lurv” hit maker’s attention and decided to drag the award the multi-award winning rapper into his lecture.
In his comment, La’wino argued the sun does not shine alone but also helps out other stars to shine in the galaxy too. This is a metaphoric way of urging Slapdee to help out other artistes in the game especially upcoming artists. In fact in his other response, La’wino insists that since Slapdee claims to be King, he ought to look after his Kingdom.
This led to Slapdee who seem to have lost his cool at this moment respond to La’wino by stating he has been helping artistes for a longtime and Instead of somehow asking for a feature from him indirectly, La’wino should take his energy to the booth.
Both Slapdee and Lawino are featuring on top ten charts countrywide with Slapdee making waves with Lituation featuring Nigerian artist Patoranking and label-mate Daev. La’wino on the other hand, recently released a track dubbed “Loke Loke” (Higher and Higher) featuring “Chef 187” and is also making waves. In a way of promoting their songs both tracks have media challenges going round with Slapdee spearheading his toothbrush challenge while Lawino with Loke Loke dance challenge.
La’wino recently came in the game with only a few songs to his name but trending countrywide and other countries. In order to break out and impress an audience outside Slapdee and Lawino have done International collaborations .La’wino also plans to do the “Loke Loke” official video in about 6 different countries as he told Zed Hype Mag staff Dennis Mwewa. A follow up interview concerning his interaction with hip hop Mogul Slapdee will be followed up.
