Nigerian Afro Pop star “Tekno” will be in Lusaka to perform live on 28th July and Slapdee was invited to be among the opening acts. However, Slapdee turned down the rumored K7 000 offer Coz it was less compared to what Tekno is being paid.. The rapper who earlier turned down opening for “Mr. Eazi” later went on Twitter to explain the reason.
I am in no competition with anyone. I am just fighting to improve myself. Bless! ?????

In one of the tweeted quoted below, The HipHop Mogul clarifies the doesn’t really care opening for any artistes whether local or International as long as his demands are met.
May I also add that I have no problem opening for any musician local or international provided our demands are met as per our contract. What is discussed between my team and promoters remains confidential UNLESS compromised for different reasons.

Slapdee further explained music is a Business and hence all parties involved must be respected despite how the deal might go.
The idea is not to ‘wage wars’ with invited artists rather to encourage local support and improved terms of service with our promoters. I do not wish to belittle those choose to take the offers from promoters because our industry is a free market and so is Zambia!

He later thanked his fans for Supporting his stance and asked for their continued support.
My lovely fans, thankyou for supporting my stance on good fees for Zambian performers at our great events with guest artists from outside the country. Let’s be clear not to make it about the invited artists but our local promoters and mostly ourselves.
