2018 already seems to be a promising Year for Zambian musicians on the African Continental scene with major recognition being earned. Roberto, Mampi and Cleo Ice Queen have been nominated for African Musik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) 2018. The trio have been listed in the categories for Best Male artistes Southern and Best Female Artiste Southern Africa respectively.
This actually means both Mampi and Cleo Ice Queen are up for the same award. The duo are competing against fellow African female music giants such as Shekinah (South Africa), Busiswa (South Africa), Amara Brown (Zim) among others. Roberto is also competing against the likes of Cassper Nyovest, Emtee, Nasty C etc.
