After releasing her debut album, ‘Mfumu Kadzi’, award winning female artist, Bombshell has opened up her shaky relationship with record label, Nexus Music.
She featured on Sunday’s edition of On The Table with Chimweka where she hinted at the record label not paying as much attention to her child (‘Mfumu Kadzi’ album). She further couldn’t comment on being happy that she is under the record label, responding with “I’m happy I dropped an album”.
When directly asked if she’s in a healthy relationship with Nexus Music, the Mfumu Kadzi disclosed that ‘it needs more nutrients and vitamins’.
Recently, Chef 187’s manager disclosed that the rapper’s contract with Nexus Music came to an end. On the other hand, Y Celeb distanced himself from the record label while the CEO, Killa Beats (KB) explained that he hasn’t up to date with some of the record label activities as he had not been at the label offices in months.
As some artists have been seen detaching themselves from Kalandanya Music Promotions, similar trend seemingly being seen at Nexus Music. Bombshell has suggested that what leads to some artists doing so is feeling too entitled with the record labels they belong to.
