Controversial dancehall sensational Petersen Zagaze has also joined the ongoing debate about ‘Which Zambian HipHop Album is the Best.” Zagaze who is an expressive artiste says RED (Real Emcee Definition) by Tiye-P is the best Hiphop album.
In fact according to Zaga, RED is not just the Best at the Moment but the Greatest HipHop album of all time besides Crisis Mr. Swagger’s 2005 “Officer in Charge”. Petersen who featured on Chef 187‘s Amnesia album posted this on his Facebook page and has since added fire to the on-going debate. In his opinion, RED is the only pure HipHop album without any fused genre like other albums.
Below is Zagaze’s Facebook post:

Give me any other Zed Hip hop album you know ever. List the songs and i will tell you every song’s genre. May be you will know what hip hop is..
Im talking hip hop album.
Rap on hip hop beats.
Hip hop on hip hip beats too.
Everything hip hop.
NOT KWAITO ON HIP-HOP BEATS.
Not hip hop on kwaito beats.
Not rap on Dancehall or ragga best.
Im talking HIP HOP….
Serous Hip-hop , No dunka, No Garage, No Afro Dance, No Ragga beats, no Dancehall beats or r&b changanya on the album. I’m talking Hip Hop.
TIYE P ‘S RED ALBUM IS THE BEST HIP-HOP ALBUM EVER. – apart from Crisis’ officer in charge.
However, Both Kopala and XYZ fans are not taking this lightly considering that Zagaze sidelined Amnesia by Chef 187 and BW2 by Slapdee. Other albums left out are Giovanii by Jae Cash, Flowers by Dope G & Lusaka by Jay Rox.
Do You agree with Petersen Zagaze??
