In the wake of the tragic demise of a University of Zambia (UNZA) Student “Vesper Shimuzhila” following a riot at the Campus, Nigerian Superstar “Mr. Eazi” took it to twitter to join the ‘Justice for Vesper’ Campaign.  Mr. Eazi who has familiarized himself with Zambian Youths online since his Performance in the country few Months ago has taken keen interest in the matter and tweeted his deep condolences.

He also emphasized justice must prevail as people demand the Police officers who threw teargas canisters at the Hostels where “Vesper” suffocated be brought to book. Zambian artistes and Celebs such as B-Flow, Mampi, Macky 2, Chanda Mbao, Wezi, King Illest, Slapde and many others have since joined the protest and ‘Justice For Vesper” hashtag has since started trending online.

Vesper was a final year student at the highest learning Institution in the country and her unfortunate death has spark peaceful protests during her memorial which took place yesterday in Lusaka.

In addition to the “Justice For Vesper” campaign, an online petition has been opened in order to declare hostels ‘a safe Zone‘ during riots in Zambian learning institutions. This means Police officers will no longer be following Students to their Hostels during riots.
