Mikrophone seven is a Zambian gospel artist born as Kaluba David Bwalya. He was born in Lusaka on the 22nd of April 1994.

He grew up in Lusaka as a member of St. Ignitious church where he was an altar boy and secretary of the altar boy club, he then joined the Loyola choir at the age of thirteen (13) where he discovered his passion for music, then later in high school he would sing with a group of friend during school assemblies at Kamwala High School.

He completed high school in 2011, then later in 2012 he started doing music. Some of his major projects include Die again mixtape (2014), God Engineering (2015) and Current Situation (2018).

Some of the major highlights in his career include his first ever event in 2014, performing in Malawi, hosting presenter search for Fresh TV, he also presented the Zamtel Zambian Drive on Radio Christian Voice for two months and finally his Current Situation album Launch in 2018.

Mikrophone Seven is well known for hits such as Blesser, Mumfyoli and Mulomo.

Kaluba came up with the name Mikrophone Seven because he believes he is God’s Microphone and he uses him to reach out to people and he uses the number because of its regard as the number of completion and also because it was his late elder brother’s favourite number.

Aside from being an artist he is a student at the Zambia institute of mass communication pursuing a diploma in journalism and public relations, he is chairperson and founder of Fresh to Life Foundation of Hope whose main goal is to be a bridge between people who can help and people who need help, he is also an Entrepreneur, marketer and Evangelist which he regards as his main call in ministry.
