After Establishing himself as a mainstream artist with several Bangers accredited to him, Jae Cash finally adds an LP to his name. The album is called “Giovanni” meaning “God’s Gift” which is also named after his Son. The K-Amy Studios rapper dropped this much anticipated 22 track album few months ago in May and from the production to the whole content on the project, it was worthy the long wait!

Jae Cash has many stories to tell on this masterpiece but doesn’t end on just his struggles and motivation but also makes sure the album comes with strong vibes fusing both HipHop, Afro-pop and Dancehall rap songs for the clubs.

Jae Cash rings the bell on this masterpiece with a Thanks Giving theme “Intro” as he gives a Shout-Out to everyone who has helped him in his career. Not distracted by the fame and all his Mainstream Success, the rapper humbly Thanks his Mentor and Label CEO KB on track  14 Titled 14 “Dear KB” which features Label mate Alpha Romeo with a Hook from Izreal and then blessed by a Verse from “KB” him.

Jae Cash is sure to strike a balance with his Debut album by making sure everyone finds a song to relate to. He packs song such as “Akamutima”, “Ride or Die”, Cheerleader, My baby “Tokya,”Malaika “Niwe Nasala” strictly for lovers and clubs respectively. Some of the notable moments on the album are when the K-Amy Protégé’ reminisces life under the care of a Single mom and his struggles on “Destiny” featuring “Roberto.”

I really thank my mom for this/ coz venzointamba future when she close her eyes/ Raised by a single mom Nikukosa Guys/ Nenzo dodger class…. He raps on Destiny.

The rapper provides listeners with a “Go Getter” motivation on “Imozi” (Feat. Amerigo) brags about his success on “Finally”. Jae Cash brings the HipHop heat of Punchlines and Metaphors on songs like “Kwacha Kwacha” ft Mubby Roux (another Hustle Motivation), “16 Bars” as he extends his quite amusing lyrical content on “Ndiye Che Mwenilile” and pretty much his sick Wordplay and rhyming prowess on “Ninadya One” (featuring Drifta Trek). Giovanni and I Pray are also some of the Deep and Soul songs on the Project.

The album might be criticized for too many Features but his Intriguing Incredible energy on this album is one of its kind and definitely one of the Best to come out of Zambia this year. Giovanni exhibits a lot of Maturity of Jae Cash as a rapper. Production on this masterpiece is accredited to “Big Bizzy”, “KB”, “Jay B Walter”, “Jazzy Boy”, “Reverb”, “Mr. Starsh” and “Kekero”. This is an album worthy bumping to and hence grab yourself a copy if you haven’t.
