Kopala artist Chef 187 has vowed to deliver a thunderous performance at this year’s Vodafone Jump sponsored concert to be held at woodlands stadium in Lusaka.
The final weekend of April will be graced by Vodafone Jump’s musical events : which have been dubbed “All out for our own.” the events are set to rock Lusaka with two concerts within the hip-hop and gospel genres .
The creme-d-la-creme of Zambian music were officially unveiled during a media breakfast at the Vodafone operational center of excellence , with the 4G operator promising lively festivals that will host a profusion of Zambia’s top mainstream and gospel performers at woodlands stadium on the 27th and 28th April 2018.
The ‘House Party hit maker, Chef 187 and Slap Dee are set to headline the “All Out for our Own” concert Hip Hop show on April 27th , reinforced by a wealth of opening acts ranked in the upper echelons of Zambian hip-hop.
Among these, Punchline Factory and Unajaila Ine hit maker Johnathan Nyirenda A.KA has been left out, which led to his outburst on social media and questioning Vodafone’s criteria in selecting who to headline their concerts.
But Jump regional director Mutale Kapaso has clarified the selecting criteria indicating that the decision was at the discretion of social media followers.
And speaking at the Same event one of the Hip-Hop headliners Chef 187 has urged Zambians to turn up in large numbers.
He says he will put up an overwhelming performance, so that Vodafone considers making the concert an annual event to accommodate other artists like Tiye-P. ….Watch Video below……………..
