The African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) is back for the year 2022 and this year’s Ceremony will be held on 9th November, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. Zambia has managed to have 3 Superstars nominated for the prestigious Award which is a big win for the Industry.
Macky 2 and Slapdee have both been nominated in the category for “Best Male Southern Africa” and they will compete against the likes of Focalistic, Mark Exodus, Master KG among others. Slapdee was recently nominated for AFRIMMA in 2021 and 2020 while Macky 2 was last nominated for the award in 2018.
Songstress Towela Kaira has also made it on the nominees list for the first time and she appears in the category for Best Female Southern Africa alongside the likes of Shekinah, Makhadzi, Gemma Griffins, Amara Brown among others.
