Bwalya Chibwe born on 31st May is a Zambian rapper based in Kabwe popularly known as Janta. His stage name was coined from a childhood nickname which he was told was the first word he spoke as he was learning to talk.
Janta is a born in a family of 2. He started his education in Kitwe at Wesley Nyirenda Primary School (then), he then moved to Kabwe where he furthered  his education at Nabusanga primary school and later completed at Chindwin Barracks Secondary School.
Some of the songs he has done include My baby girl, The way you are, One day, Heart beat, Amen, I got you, Five fingers of death, My darling and Vakudala. Janta says his major achievement so far is seeing how much his music has evolved and being able to make relatable music and above all acquiring some knowledge about the industry.
Apart from music, he is a community journalist under the Ishiwi my voice project implemented by KNC radio, Restless Development and BBC Media Action. He is also an upcoming entrepreneur.
Janta says he aspires to be many things these include a lawyer, a biomedical doctor, a rap super star, a business tycoon and so much more.
In 2022, he plans to continue making great music, start many businesses, start his tertiary education, brand himself further and position himself better as an individual.
