HipHop recording artiste and Lyrical ‘Sensei” “Chef 187″ yesterday took it to twitter to explain the concept and meaning of his song “Grammy Muchibemba“ off ‘Bon Appetit” album. The rapper was responding to a fan who wanted Chef 187 to explain to the host ‘African Music Industry Podcast” what the song actually means.
According to Chef 187, the song is about getting to the highest position in life by using the simplest tools in life. He further pointed out that it has little to do with him winning an actual Grammy Award by rapping in Bemba.
Generally Grammy nechibemba talks about getting to the highest position in life using the simplest of tools at your disposal. It has little to do with me trying to win an actual Grammy award rapping in our native language, though kuti yafuma futi! #Bonappetit https://t.co/cMZQZZzBk9

Grammy Muchibemba features fellow label-mate “Drifta Trek” and its one of the fan favorites on the album.
