In the wake of his ongoing Twitter War with Former “Zed Top 10″ presenter on Zambezi Magic, Bobby East has disclosed how he couldn’t get a feature from some International artistes. The XYZ Entertainments rapper tweeted he had a $10, 000 budget for a collabo but that still couldn’t secure him an International artiste on his “Vanilla” album.
According to Bobby East, when he reached out the managers of the artistes on his ‘wish list’ they also requested for social media handles and YouTube links. This made them turn down the offer because his numbers on the social media platforms are very low.
For the record guys when we decided we wanted to get a major African star on my album.. We made a wish list and emailed their managers asking for rates. They instead asked for social media handles and links to YouTube videos. We had a budget of about 10,000 USD

Bobby East was responding to Benas Banda who earlier slammed him for ‘begging’ for a feature from Cassper Nyovest publicly on Twitter! He further emphasized his tweet wasn’t an attempt to get him a free feature but rather to tip the scale in his favour.
