A Zambian film directed by a Welsh-Zambian director Rungano Nyoni on Sunday evening won a British Academy Film Award (BAFTA) for “Outstanding Debut“. The awards were held at The Royal Albert Hall in London.
“I Am not a Witch” is a movie about an eight-year-old girl Margaret Mulubwa accused of being a witch.
It is the first Zambian Film to be shown at the Cannes film festival.
