2017 has generally been an amazing year as far as Music is concerned. Off course all the Hits and album released this year wouldn’t be possible without the effort of our producers. We take time to credit producers for their Skillful effort. Below is the official Zed Hype Mag Top 10 List of Best Zambian producers for 2017.

  1. Reverb of Levels Studios

Its without any doubt that reverb deserves to sit on top of this list. The supper producer and has managed to give us hits and has contributed on a lot of albums than any other artists. Reverb Single-handedly produced 90% of Tiye-P’s RED album with distinction of its each song. He has also worked on Chef 187’s Amnesia album, Dope G’s “Flowers” album, Willz’s “Umuyo Wa Willy” album and many more.

  1. Stash

The Young talented XYZ signed producer also has had a successful 2017 with multiple hits accredited to his name. He has produced “Ma years” by Chef 187, Psych Bae by Bobby East, Single by Daev, Buckets and Jameson by H-Mac etc and also more 50% of his works have been credited on Black Na White 2 by Slapdee.

  1. Shinko Beats

Shinko Beats of Red Castle has been a top Notch Producer last year making a Number of Hits. His ability to give International touch to works has mostly aligned him with the likes of Kaladoshas, Jay Rox, Cleo Ice Queen, Chanda Mbao, Scott, Dope G etc. Most of the works for these artiste last year were produced by him. He also managed to work with Muzo aka Alphonso.

  1. Big Bizzy

K-amy and Starlight Music’s very own “Big Bizzy” is an outstanding and talented to producer and rapper. He Producer more than 60% of Jae Cash’s “Giovanni” album and also produced his own Mercy album. Big Bizzy also worked on a number of K-Amy and Starlight Classics for Talented artistes such as “Ben Da future, Neo, Chilu, 4Four etc…

  1. T-Sean

T-Sean is music machine who doubles as a an artiste and producer. His works are heard on songs with the signatory “Thee High Grade” engineered at the Studio he co-wonws with Tbowy. He produced Hits like Nimayewa by Daev, Denya by him & Tbwoy and The smash hit “Don’t Lead Me On”. He also worked with a number of Uprising artists.

  1. Kekero

Kekero has been a “Breakthrough Producer” of 2017. The super producer has given us hits like “Akamutima” by “Jae Cash”, Nekha by Stevo, and “Anajiala remix” by Wezi, Kantu and Bombshell among others.

Producer Wau also had a good spot last year as far as production is concerned. The producer Worked on “Chamu Motoka” by Tiye-P, I Wonder by Smaq, Outta Normal by S-Roxxy, Julius Malema by Radyo, Dreams by Jemax. He also produced by Giovanni album Jae Cash.

8. Dj Mzenga Man

HipHop producer and M Beats Generation Music CEO “Dj Mzenga Man” continues to give life to Zed HipHop despite his production being criticized by many. He produced Notable HipHop bangers last year such as The Game, Kumbuka Series, Me and You, Sandles Off and Push (Both by Stevo).

9. The Magician

Many might not be familiar with his name but hi production Technics gave us hits like “Fuss” by “Mic Burner, Bwetu Bwetu by Willz (also Produced notable songs on Willz’s album) and the most recent “Nyula Yako” by Mampi.

Mixtizzo is a Breakthrough producer of last year as long as Kekero. He works were first recognized by many on Intro for Amnesia album by Chef 187. He also worked with Pompi on the smash hit “Silence”.
